A destination to remember
Let us share with you why Los Cabos is the "It" destination for your next beach holiday.
Located at the southern end of the Baja California Peninsula, Los Cabos ranks as one of Mexico’s best tourist destinations and the world. Besides having an exciting culture and history, this city has plenty to offer both local and international tourists.
First: The Sunniest Weather
Los Cabos is an ideal location for anyone planning to holiday in a hot and sunny spot. In fact, the sun shines almost all year round, which means you would not necessarily have to worry about gloomy weather when you visit our destination. The average annual temperature typically varies from 60°F to 93°F and is rarely below 56°F or above 97°F. Most of this area’s annual rainfall occurs around September and October. In general, Los Cabos logs more than 340 days of sunshine. There are only a few other holiday locations that can boast of such holiday-friendly weather.
Second: Easy Access
Los Cabos always welcomes you, whether by air, land, or sea, for a relaxing and enjoyable stay in paradise. There are more than 550 weekly flights from 40 destinations, connecting different places in the United States, Canada, and Latin America. For our U.S. visitors from the West Coast, direct flights can take as short as two hours. East Coasters can find direct flights of four hours, making for a hassle-free journey to our destination.
Third: Health & Safety Protocols
Before traveling to Los Cabos for the first time, most people ask, “Is Los Cabos safe?” In general, safety is one of the many reasons to travel to Los Cabos. With tourism as the foundation of the economy, local businesses work hard to avoid receiving a Government Travel Advisory, offering everyone a safe place. As the city continues to reopen and travel restrictions are lifted, businesses and hotels can only welcome guests back with strict precautionary measures in place.
Fourth: Golden Beaches for Every Adventure
Are you looking to surf, launch a kayak, wave runner or stand up paddleboard, or walk with your sweetheart? Los Cabos has a beach for you. Experience a desert adventure, get thrilled with marine life, have fun between the two seas or feel the adrenaline from the air. Several tours are available for various water-based activities, including snorkeling and scuba diving. Be careful and always ask if the beach you are heading to is swimmable. A strong undertow can be deadly for the unattentive visitor.
Fifth: Mouthwatering Cuisine
A trip to Los Cabos would not be complete without visiting the many excellent restaurants in San Jose del Cabo. This charming resort town has experienced a broad mix of culinary influences from all over the world. Mexico’s varied and lauded cuisine is well represented, with restaurants expertly preparing dishes that hail from many of the country’s states, proudly celebrating national traditions. But there’s also a substantial global influence thanks to the many international visitors and expatriates in the region. The local populace itself is a dynamic mix of peoples whose ancestors came to these shores from China, Germany, or the Middle East, leaving a most delicious legacy.
For all these reasons and so many others, Los Cabos has become this season "It" beach destination. Keep us on top of your mind when planning your next holiday. - E.S.
